The Indians have once again managed to neutralize the proceedings of the day. While the first two sessions were won comprehensively by Australia, the Indians fought back bravely in the last session with Ganguly, Harbhajan Singh and Zaheer batting with a lot of grit. Harbhajan and Zaheer got stuck into them like thorns. It was a healthy 80-run partnership, after Australia had got all the main Indian batsmen back fairly cheaply. With just a couple more wickets in hand, India will want to be as close to Australia as possible.
