The Sri Lankans have been absolutely ruthless in their runchase, crushing the hosts in a convincing manner. Chasing a moderate target, they couldn't have asked for a better start from their openers who put on a mamoth 215, the highest partnership for Sri Lanka against Bangladesh in ODIs.
The Bangladesh bowlers were disappointing to say the least, spraying the ball all around the pitch. They weren't helped by the dew, but all credit to the Lankans for polishing off a moderate total in quick time without their established openers-Dilshan and Jayasuriya.
