Marelisa is taking up a degree in Architecture at the Central University of Venezuela, in Caracas, Venezuela. Of Swedish-Mexican descent, she is fluent in 3 languages; Spanish, English and French.
Since 1952, Marelisa became the 6th Miss Miranda to win in the Miss Venezuela pageant. She cites Theatre and Photography as some of her interests. Venezuela is a true powerhouse in the Miss Universe. The country’s dominance was proven once more as they made history last year for being the only country to win successively in the Miss Universe.
