Bangladesh fought well in this Test but their batsmen, particularly the top order, let them down. Having dismissed India for 243, they failed to get the lead and in the second innings they left the lower order with too much to do with little left to escape defeat. Mushfiqur, however, remains their stand-out performer and warrants a promotion up the order, given his solidity and sound technique. India take 1-0 lead.
