In Day 6 of the Australian Open 2011, Rafa Nadal overcame lingering flu-like symptoms and a strong challenge from 18-year-old Bernard Tomic to advance.
* No. 1 Rafael Nadal def. Bernard Tomic, 6-2 7-5 6-3. The top-ranked player in the world entered Saturday's match with lingering flu symptoms, and he received a strong challenge from the 18-year-old Tomic. Nadal found himself down 4-0 in the second set before rallying. After the match, Nadal said, "I am sweating more than usual. I am more tired than usual when I'm playing. I don't know what's going on. I'm doing all that I can."
