Miss America 2010, the 89th Miss America pageant, was held at the Theatre for the Performing Arts in Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on January 30, 2010. Miss America 2009, Katie Stam from Indiana, crowned her successor at the end of the event, Caressa Cameron from Virginia. Caressa Cameron is from Fredericksburg, Virginia, who won the title of Miss America 2010. She graduated from Massaponax High School and currently attends Virginia Commonwealth University located in Richmond, Virginia. She is 5 foot 4 inches, and wears a size 7 shoe.
