Miss America 2010, the 89th Miss America pageant, will be held at the Theatre for the Performing Arts in
Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on January 30, 2010.
Miss America 2009, Katie Stam from Indiana, will crown her successor at the end of this event. Contestants from all 50 states along with District of Columbia, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico will compete for the prestigious title.
The pageant will broadcast live on TLC. This edition will be the 5th year that Las Vegas will host the pageant. The semifinalists will competing in
swimsuit, evening gown, talent, and the final interview. The 4 runner-ups will be announced first, followed by the new Miss America winner.
