Deccan goofed up the chase big time after a superb fifty from Gilchrist. Laxman, Gibbs, Symonds and Sharma got out to poor shots and they eventually paid the price. Credit to Kolkata's bowlers for not giving up and credit to Owais Shah and Angelo Mathews for stunning counter attacks after Vaas had left Kolkata's innings in disarray. After enduring two poor campaigns, Kolkata will be thrilled with this result.
