Barclays Premier League is the most watched league and the most popular English Professional league for football clubs since the day it was inaugurated, August 15, 1992. It is consist of 20 clubs but actually originally it was 22 but 2 were relegate and two were promoted so that’s why it is now 20. And the 20 clubs is the real plan of the administration. The Premier League was called “BARCLAYS” because it was sponsored by Barclays Bank.
A total of 42 clubs have competed in the Premier League, but only four have won the title: The four clubs who have won in this Premier League are Manchester United, Blackburn Rovers, Arsenal, and Chelsea. The current champions are Manchester United who have won the 10th Premier League Title in 2007-2008 season.
