Jayasuriya, 39, became only the second player to pass 13,000 runs in one-day internationals during his innings.
In todays match Jayasuriya who at 39 years and 212 days became the oldest centurion in one-day internationals, passing Geoff Boycott's record of 39 years and 51 days set against Australia in Sydney in 1979.

Sanath: We need to get the breakthrough early on if we want to win, "We need to play more positive cricket and put more pressure on the Indian batting order".
Mahendra Singh Dhoni: Overall it was a good performance and we wanted Sanath to take risks, that was the gameplan. "The batting powerplay is very tricky and it is very important to take early wickets and keep the pressure on", the partnership between Raina and Gambhir was very crucial.
