India vs Sri Lanka, first one day Full Highlight video Played at Rajkot, Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Ground on Tuesday, 15 December 2009
India beat Sri Lanka by three runs in a high-scoring first One-Day International at Rajkot on Tuesday to take a 1-0 lead in the five-match series.
Sehwag is the MoM: The leg is getting better, Nitin Patel is working on it and I'm able to walk now. I was in good nick and tried to utilise my good form, just think of getting through the first 15 overs and then can score a hundred or more. MSD took the pressure off me and that helped. This is the right time to convert my thirties and forties into big ones in ODIs and that is what I'm trying to do. Were you tense at the end asks Ravi? No actually I was supporting SL, because whenever I supported India they lose, it is a superstition and it worked again today.
Dhoni: It is quite tough to be cool, when you have scored 400 runs and it goes down to the last ball. The intensity we showed was quite awesome, overall quite pleased with the effort. We could have scored 440-450. If there is a set batsman like Dilshan and if you drop him, you are in trouble. The series will end up being a close one, it will test the character of the guys. Nehra bowled really well, I did not say much to him, he is an experienced guy and knows what to do.
Sangakkara: It is actually worse when you come so close and lose it like this. I'm proud of the guys though. India held their nerve better than us and in the end they emerged victorious. A bit more effort from us in the field, 3-4 runs and it would have been different. But you have to accept that India were better today. It is heart-breaking for the bowlers to play on grounds like these, but that is the way the world is going at the moment.

India vs Sri Lanka 1st ODI Rajkot - Presentation
India beat Sri Lanka by three runs in a high-scoring first One-Day International at Rajkot on Tuesday to take a 1-0 lead in the five-match series.
Chasing a seemingly improbable target of 415, the visitors mounted a well-calculated assault but eventually finished just short, with 411 for eight in their stipulated 50 overs.
