Australia host India tonight in the first international cricket match played at ANZ Stadium, Sydney, confident they can continue their outstanding summer against the tourists.
Australia are fresh off their 4-0 humiliation of India in the Border Gavaskar Trophy Test series, while the tourists can be forgiven for wanting to go home early.
Despite some wet weather in Sydney today, the rain is expected to hold off and give the huge crowd a full match.

Match End!
Australia 171/4 (20/20 over)
All credit to Hogg, Hussey and Doherty. The pitch was turning in the latter part of the match and they made maximum use of it. Hussey and Hogg in particular were the game changers as they stifled the batsmen after the first 6 overs. India never recovered from what happened in that period of play, and were always playing catch up in vain.
Australia's spinners beat India. That is a rare sight, but that's the way things panned out today. Sehwag fell early but Gambhir and Kohli went along at a good pace till the spinners came on. David Hussey and Brad Hogg gave nothing away in the middle overs and struck 3 vital blows to remove Gambhir, Kohli and then Rohit Sharma. The Indians found it extremely hard to score and lost their way in the middle overs. Dhoni struggled early on before hitting some lusty blows in the end, but India just couldn't get any partnership going their way.
