Their love story is truly filmy. Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza met on the sets of their Bollywood debut movie, Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2003. After years of playing hide-and-seek from the media about their relationship, the two announced their plans to get hitched last year. Their sangeet ceremony, which was held yesterday (January 31) at the Taj Lands End.

The couples are all set to tie the knot Feb 3. At the ceremony the family members of both Riteish and Genelia and and some very close friends attends. Genelia looked gorgeous in a Manish Malhotra dress.

The song and dance ceremony was entirely coordinated by good friend and filmmaker Karan Johar. Karan, who coordinated the entire sangeet ceremony for the big Bachchan wedding between Abhishek and Aishwarya in April 2007, was the mastermind behind the acts for Riteish and Genelia's sangeet ceremony.

Riteish's brother Dheeraj also put up an act for the ceremony. Joining him in the act was wife Honey and brother-in-law Jaccky Bhagnani. Riteish's good friend Fardeen and Zayed Khan had also decided to put up an act as well. If that's how the groom's side prepared the bride's friends are not far behind.

Genelia's school friends practiced their dance as well. They had planned a rather entertaining sequence. Among friends and colleagues, Arshad Warsi and Jacky Bhagnani were the first ones to arrive at the venue.

The guest list included Bobby Deol, Karan Johar, Abhishek Bachchan, Soha Ali Khan, Suniel Shetty, Asin Thottumkal, Sonali Bendre, Rishi Kapoor, Nitu Singh, Arbaaz Khan, Malaika Arora Khan, Ashutosh Gowariker, Shreyas Talpade, Priyadarshan, Milan Luthria, Aftab Shivdasani and Shweta Pandit.
